- Compact BIOTRAP
is a compact and self-contained wastewater treatment system
capable of handling a capacity range of 500-100,000 gallons
per day.
- No Chemicals
The BIOTRAP process has no chemicals or clarifiers added
to the system. Existing biological treatment systems commonly
use chemicals and clarifiers to aid in their processes.
- No Moving Parts
The BIOTRAP process relies on gravity to move the wastewater
through the chambers. No moving parts means very low maintenance.
- Odor Free The
BIOTRAP system is enclosed within a larger vessel. Being
totally enclosed, the strong unpleasant odors associated
with wastewater treatment are virtually non-existent.
- High Performance
BIOTRAP has proven to treat wastewater from a septic system
to meet TSS <10 mg/l and BOD <10 mg/l as well as NO3
<10 mg/l, However if requirements are more stringent,
we can design a system to meet your needs.
- Low Sludge Production
BIOTRAP systems installed and operating have shown to consistently
reduce the amount of sludge by 80% compared to existing
competitive biological systems.
- Pre-Assembled
BIOTRAP is pre-assembled at the factory to ensure that the
system is functioning properly and that the installation
onsite is as easy and cost efficient as possible.
- Corrosion Resistant
BIOTRAP is constructed entirely with concrete, thermoplastic
or fiberglass as well as being totally enclosed in a single
vessel greatly enhances the system's ability to be corrosion
free.
- Small Disposal Area
BIOTRAP needs less than 10% of the area a typical septic
system needs for a leach field. This helps to reduce the
cost and maintenance compared to the standard systems.
- Direct Discharge
BIOTRAP with the "OZONE" purifier installed can
be directly discharged into streams or be used for irrigation.
- Water Re-Use
BIOTRAP effluent can be used for irrigation, recycled back
into the building to reuse for flushing toilets, washing
vehicles as well as many other applications.
